About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and driven Key Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage and nurture Key Account relationships, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive business growth. As a key point of contact for clients, you will balance strategic and tactical responsibilities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service and value.
What You’ll Be Doing
Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building enduring business relationships at all levels.
- Understand clients' business objectives, challenges, and needs to provide tailored solutions.
- Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates, resolve issues, and offer insights on opportunities for growth.
Account Growth & Retention:
- Adhering to a sales strategy plan to meet/exceed Quarterly KPIs; closing distribution and driving active users counts.
- Identify opportunities to expand account value by upselling or cross-selling relevant services/products.
- Implement pricing & discount strategies to grow sales in additional sub-channels.
- Monitor and ensure client satisfaction, addressing concerns proactively to retain accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic account level plans to achieve distribution, active users and revenue targets.
Project Coordination:
- Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, client success, and operations) to deliver on client commitments.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products, services, and solutions.
- Lead periodic client reviews to discuss performance, KPIs, and future strategies.
Data Management & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed client records, including account activity, forecasts, and key contacts.
- Analyze account performance data to provide actionable insights for both the client and internal teams.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and client meetings.
Industry Knowledge:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to offer relevant insights to clients.
- Attend industry events, webinars, or networking opportunities to build knowledge and represent the company.
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in account management, client services, or a similar role.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of account planning, relationship building, and business development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in tools like CRM systems and MS Office Suite.
- Industry-specific knowledge is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex client scenarios or challenging accounts.
- Demonstrated success in upselling, cross-selling, and achieving revenue targets.
You’ll Get Bonus Points For
- Knowledge of Card products (credit & prepaid), compliance, and processing.
- Previous experience in the Fintech or Payment space.
- Experience in the Hospitality space.
